Abstract

This research is aimed at developing a tool that can examine textbooks carried in a bag. This tool is intended to make it easier for parents who are busy or unable to stay close to their children. That way parents can check the child's preparation without having to always accompany their child. By adapting the theory of the Internet of Things (IoT), which is the interaction of tools with the internet with / without human intermediaries. The Internet of Things (IoT) used here is the use of an ecosystem of relationships between tools, databases, and applications on smartphones. The design of this tool uses a Wemos D1 R2 connected to an RFID reader placed in a bag by attaching an RFID card in books and books to the RFID reader that is integrated with Wemos D1 R2 to send book data to Firebase. The result is data from Firebase that is sent to the application that receives book data is matched and displays the book inserted in the child's bag to the parent's smartphone.
